Silver colored jewelry are made exclusively from stainless steel, ensuring that your piece will never tarnish . Therefore, it can be worn every day, even underwater, without any problems!

Gold colored jewelry are plated with 14k or 18k gold over stainless steel. Gold-plated jewelry can unfortunately change color over time, but if it does change color, it will turn silver. To keep it looking beautiful for as long as possible, follow the storage and care recommendations .

Earring pins or hooks are also made from hypoallergenic stainless steel.

For the silver ones, no, they will not tarnish over time since they are stainless steel.

For the gold colored ones, yes, the gold-colored pieces can tarnish over time. They are made of gold-plated stainless steel, and the plating may wear off eventually. However, we use the highest quality plating available for our stainless steel and test our materials before selling our items. When the plating wears off, the jewelry turns silver, which is the worst thing that can happen!

Without any special care or storage, our jewelry retains its plating for over a month. With proper care and storage, the plating can last for over a year.

Yes, they absolutely are! All our jewelry pieces are handmade, making each piece unique. Furthermore, all our pieces use semi-precious stones, and each stone is unique. The jewelry made from dried flowers are also all different, since each flower is one of a kind.

No, our jewelry does not contain nickel.

Although stainless steel is known for its strength, gold plating remains a delicate finish . Therefore, we recommend:

Avoid contact with water (shower, bath, swimming pool, salt water)
Remove your jewelry before applying cosmetic products (perfume, cream, makeup).
Avoid contact with chemicals or abrasives
Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing

These actions will help slow down the natural wear of the plating and preserve the shine of the jewelry.

Storage

When the jewelry is not being worn:

Storage

Even though they are very durable, proper storage helps to maintain their beautiful appearance:

Store jewelry in a dry place when not being worn.
Avoid rubbing against other jewelry to prevent scratches
Store in a box or pouch for better protection

For our silver-colored jewelry, yes, no problem, they can be worn in the shower or in water.

For our gold-colored jewelry, it is strongly recommended not to wear it in the shower or in water to preserve the gold plating. Visit our jewelry care and maintenance guide for more information.

Shipping costs are calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always see the shipping price during the checkout process.

All our jewelry is made to order as soon as an order is received. Production usually takes between 1 and 2 weeks , but it can be faster depending on the order.

For local delivery, we unfortunately have no control over the speed of the carriers. However, delivery times usually vary between 3 and 7 business days .

For international orders, delivery times typically range from 3 to 10 business days , depending on the destination country and the carrier's speed. Please note that exceptional delays may occur due to customs or other factors beyond our control.

Yes, we offer international shipping! Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

In order to maintain an efficient and personalized service, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless a piece of jewelry is significantly damaged during delivery or an error was made while preparing the order.

All our jewelry pieces are made with love and is very durable, but occasionally a piece may be damaged during shipping. If this happens, please contact me as soon as possible by emailing info@laluneboreale.ca with a photo of the damaged item .

If the damage is significant (meaning the jewelry cannot be worn or its appearance is altered), we are committed to offering you a quick and appropriate solution : you can choose between an exchange for a new piece of jewelry or a full refund . Your satisfaction is our priority, and we will do everything we can to ensure you have a positive experience.

*Please note that refunds and exchanges are only offered if the jewelry was damaged during delivery. Damage occurring during normal use or while wearing the jewelry is not covered.

La Lune Boréale is a small, artisanal business driven by a deep respect for nature and biodiversity. While the jewelry industry is not entirely free of environmental impacts, we make conscious choices to minimize them as much as possible.

We prioritize:

Our approach is above all transparent and respectful. Being eco-responsible is a constantly evolving process for us, and we continually seek to improve our practices as the company grows.

All natural elements used in our jewelry, such as flowers, leaves and feathers, are harvested ethically and responsibly.

For plants, we NEVER harvest an entire plant to ensure its survival and the long-term viability of the harvested species. When plants are found in colonies, we NEVER harvest the entire colony and take care to diversify our harvesting sites to limit the impact on the ecosystems.

Regarding feathers, we prioritize animal-friendly practices. When a bird is hunted, we ensure it is done as ethically as possible, minimizing its suffering, and that the meat is fully consumed. The use of feathers is undertaken to maximize the animal's use and to respect it as much as possible.
